Privacy
Plain language about the small amount of data rankbid holds. The whole policy below is shorter than most sites' cookie banners.
What we collect
The bare minimum to run a paid leaderboard. At checkout, an email address: it comes through with your Stripe payment, and we store it so a payment can be matched to a person if you ever write in.
For the counters, a hash of your IP address (a one-way fingerprint, never the raw address), a page-view row per visit, and a click event each time an outbound link is used, which is what the per-listing click counter shows.
How we use it
To operate the board: show the online and visitor counts, show per-listing click counts, and spot abuse. That's it. No advertising, no profiling, no selling, no sharing with anyone outside the couple of people who run the product.
Payment data
Payments are processed by Stripe Checkout. We never see or store card numbers; Stripe does, on their side. We store only the record of the transaction.
Cookies
None for analytics. The board visits no third-party cookies; the page you read here is yours only. Stripe's own checkout page may set cookies on its own domain during payment, which is their business and covered by their policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, or to delete it, including your listing. One email does it; we are two people, so give us a couple of days.
